MarkPlan Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MarkPlan is a field documentation, measurement, and construction progress tracking application, operated by Javier Cuéllar Lage ("we", "the Company"), located at 2101 Ludlam Rd, Miami, FL 33155, United States.

2. What information we collect

2.1. Account information

• Your email address
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email associated with that account (we do not receive or store your Google/Apple password)

2.2. Content you generate

• Blueprints and PDF documents you upload
• Measurements, annotations, markers, and their locations within the plans
• Photos and videos you take or upload as part of a project's documentation
• Comments, statuses, and text notes (including the shared task list)
• Date and time of creation/capture of each item

2.3. Collaboration information

• The email of the invited person
• The role you assign them (Viewer, Editor, Supervisor)
• A log of actions performed within a shared project — visible only to the project owner and the Supervisor role

2.4. Technical information

• A device identifier generated by the app, used to reliably sync your changes across your own devices
• Basic usage information necessary for the service to function
• We automatically collect technical crash reports (stack traces, device model, app version) via Firebase Crashlytics. These reports do not include photos, videos, comments, or any other user-generated content.

2.5. Billing information

Subscription management is currently handled manually by our team. We do not collect or store credit card data within the application.

3. How we use your information

We use the information collected exclusively to provide the app's core functionality, sync your data across devices, enable collaboration, send subscription notices, and improve service reliability.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Who we share your information with

• With your collaborators: visible to the people you explicitly invite.
• With infrastructure providers: we use Firebase (Google Cloud) to store and sync data.
• For legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law.
• We never sell or rent your information for commercial purposes.

5. Where and how your data is stored

• Projects without cloud collaboration remain only on your device.
• Once enabled, a copy is securely stored on Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
• Access is controlled by security rules verifying each person's role in every project.

6. Data retention and deletion

• Deleted projects first move to a recovery trash bin.
• "Stop sharing" deletes cloud data immediately and permanently.
• You can export a complete copy of your projects at any time.
• To request full account deletion, write to markplanapp@gmail.com.

7. Your rights

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, and to export your data in a portable format (already available in the app). Write to markplanapp@gmail.com.

8. Children's privacy

MarkPlan is a professional tool and is not directed at minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally, notifying you before changes take effect.
